What is the condition?
PDRN stands for polydeoxyribonucleotide. “PDRN Treatment” is a broad, non-standard label that may be promoted for texture, hydration, fine lines, scars or repair, but it does not identify a diagnosis or a product.
PDRN and related polynucleotide products are not automatically interchangeable, and neither is interchangeable with PRP or GFC.12
How Skinfinity treats this concern
The exact product, manufacturer, formulation, concentration, route, treatment area, dose, storage, authorisation and protocol are verified before treatment.
It should not be assumed to involve an injection, topical use, microneedling, mesotherapy, an IV route or a particular session schedule.
If the product is topical, it must be labelled and used as topical; if it is injectable, it requires a separately documented sterile protocol and consent.2
What we confirm with you before treatment
- The exact product, manufacturer and formulation
- Concentration and dose
- Route (topical or injectable) and treatment area
- Storage of the product
- Indian/local authorisation and legal indication
- The protocol, including a separately documented sterile protocol if injected
- Supporting evidence for the exact product
- Your written consent, aftercare and review plan
What outcome can you expect?
Small studies and reviews suggest possible changes in wound-healing measures, hydration, elasticity, texture or wrinkle appearance with some products, but the findings are limited and heterogeneous.
The strongest randomised evidence cited here concerns pressure-ulcer healing with a specific product and protocol, not routine facial rejuvenation.
Results are variable, and this is not a guaranteed cure or a permanent change.13

Aftercare and long-term support
- Written aftercare will follow the verified product and route.
- Use gentle cleansing and sun protection, avoid picking or rubbing, and follow advice about heat, swimming, exercise and approved products.
- Report increasing pain, warmth, spreading redness, pus, fever, marked swelling, persistent nodules, rash, breathing difficulty, or visual or neurological symptoms.
Suitability, limitations and safety
If injected, treatment requires a licensed clinician, a legal product and indication, informed consent, sterile single-use equipment, traceability and an emergency plan.
Please discuss any fish or other ingredient allergy, pregnancy, breastfeeding, immune problems, infection, bleeding disorders and medicines.
Risks include pain, bruising, swelling, infection, nodules, allergy and unsatisfactory results. A topical product can still cause irritation or contact allergy.
We do not present an unspecified service as approved cosmetic regenerative medicine, and the exact Indian/local authorisation is checked.13
