What is the condition?
IV means given through a vein (intravenously). In this service name, glutathione is an antioxidant proposed for cosmetic skin-tone change; it is not an established diagnosis or a reliably proven treatment.
Injectable glutathione is a different route and formulation from a cream or an oral supplement.
The Philippine FDA reported that there is no appropriate published dosing or duration guidance for injectable skin lightening, and evidence remains limited.123
How Skinfinity treats this concern
This service is not offered as a routine treatment until medical review has taken place and the exact injectable product, protocol and local regulatory status have been confirmed.
We do not publish a dose, concentration, infusion rate, number of sessions, maintenance plan or whitening claim.
If a clinician does consider it, the product must be suitable for intravenous use, properly sourced and traceable, and given with sterile IV supplies, consent, monitoring and emergency equipment.41
What we confirm with you before treatment
- The medical indication, following medical review
- The exact product identity and that it is injectable-grade and suitable for intravenous use
- Sourcing and traceability of the product
- Pharmacy and sterility documentation
- The exact protocol
- Clinician credentials
- Indian/local regulatory authorisation
- Sterile IV supplies, monitoring and emergency equipment
- Your written consent
What outcome can you expect?
Some limited research reports a temporary change in skin tone, but the evidence is weak, effects may fade and long-term cosmetic benefit is not established.
We do not promote it as whitening, detoxification, a permanent change or a treatment without risk.
A dermatologist should assess the cause of your pigmentation and discuss safer, evidence-based alternatives.12

Aftercare and long-term support
- No generic aftercare can be promised until the product and route are documented.
- Your clinician should provide written instructions, including the expected observation period and when normal activity may resume.
- Do not repeat treatment or combine injections without medical review.
- Report worsening symptoms promptly. Seek urgent care for breathing difficulty, facial or throat swelling, faintness, severe rash, chest symptoms, high fever or markedly reduced urine.
Suitability, limitations and safety
IV glutathione should not be treated as a routine cosmetic service.
The U.S. FDA reports adverse events linked to compounded sterile injectable glutathione, including bacterial-endotoxin reactions with nausea, vomiting, chills, low blood pressure and breathing difficulty. Serious allergy, infection, liver or kidney injury and other harms have also been reported.
Pregnancy, breastfeeding, kidney or liver disease, a history of asthma or allergy, and interacting medicines require clinician review.
A regulated setting, trained staff, a verified injectable-grade product, monitoring, sterile technique and an emergency plan are minimum safeguards, not proof that the treatment works.41
This service is not offered as a routine cosmetic booking until the medical indication, product identity, pharmacy and sterility documentation, exact protocol, clinician credentials and Indian/local authorisation have been verified.

Before any booking, we must verify the medical indication, product identity, pharmacy and sterility documentation, the exact protocol, clinician credentials and Indian/local authorisation.
If these documents are unavailable, this service remains restricted and we do not invite bookings for cosmetic IV treatment. A booking route for this service is offered only after this review.
