What is the condition?
Exosomes are small extracellular vesicles (tiny packages) released by cells. “Exosomes for Skin” is a broad marketing label, not a confirmed diagnosis, and our service list does not identify the source, brand, concentration, route or indication.
Topical use, microneedling-assisted use and injection are different interventions.12

What outcome can you expect?
Early small human studies and a recent systematic review report short-term associations with improvements in hydration, elasticity, wrinkles, pores, pigmentation and appearance. However, products and methods vary, most studies were not randomised and follow-up is limited.
These findings do not establish a predictable or permanent benefit.
There are no FDA-approved exosome products in the United States, and local status must still be checked.143

Suitability, limitations and safety
Potential risks include irritation, infection, contamination, allergy or immune reaction, uncertain long-term effects, lumps, inflammation and scarring after unregulated injections.
Any procedure must use a qualified, licensed clinician, sterile single-use supplies, informed consent, product traceability, contraindication screening and an emergency plan.
Pregnancy, breastfeeding, infection, significant immune problems, bleeding risk and relevant medicines need individual review.
The U.S. FDA warns that exosome products are regulated and has reported serious adverse events from unapproved products.231
